A symbol of metamorphosis, the butterfly is the dazzling emblem of both Mariah Carey (her signature song “Butterfly” came out 25 years ago) and Swiss jewelry house, Chopard. So, it is only fitting that the musical icon and Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele have collaborated on jewelry pieces, inspired by the butterfly. The two ensuing collections, the high jewelry Chopard X Mariah Carey Collection and the fine jewelry Happy Butterfly X Mariah Carey Collection, are available for sale on September 16. The Chopard X Mariah Carey Collection features an entirely diamond-paved jewelry set consisting of a necklace, a pair of earrings and a ring in Fairmined-certified ethical gold.
