Studium

Studium

Studium
This surface showroom in the Architects & Designers Building is a favorite of interior designers like Haynes-Roberts, Sandra Nunnerly and Jed Johnson Associates, and for good reason. Studium’s curated collection of surface materials includes mosaic, water jet, stone, porcelain and wood. While there are many stock items in their inventory, Studium’s expertise is in producing custom patterns, many of which are particularly popular in kitchens and bathrooms. Worth checking out: the new and exclusive graphic and bold David Hick’s water jet stone collection.

Upper East Sider Kate Rheinstein Brodsky (daughter of L.A.-based decorator Suzanne Rheinstein) has opened a design lover’s jewel, selling antiques and vintage furniture as well as home accessories and her own designs. The aesthetic skews traditional in a refreshingly modern setting.
