Talk about making an entrance! On Monday, November 6, CFDA Fashion Icon award winner and long-time Lincoln ambassador Serena Williams showed up to the gala in a custom-wrapped Lincoln Navigator matching her black sequined Thom Browne dress. Williams was the first-ever athlete honored with the prestigious award. To celebrate this special moment, Lincoln dressed up its flagship Navigator SUV to match Williams’ ensemble. “The Lincoln Navigator is already very Serena and dressed up like this it’s even more so,” said Williams. “I have always liked strong, bold design and black details. Plus, my own Navigator always brings so much comfort and serenity into my life, so it really helps me arrive to these big moments feeling calm.”
