Balmain’s New Kids Line Is Inspired by North West

If your child is going to be uber-stylish, you may as well go all in

Kids of the world can now take a page from North West’s stylebook thanks to Balmain’s new children’s collection. The trendsetting toddler (whose outfits are frequently layered with custom Balmain jackets) was Creative Director Olivier Rousteing’s muse for the highly anticipated line set to hit stores in June.

The 55-piece collection—for boys and girls ages six to 14—features the fashion house’s signature designs, like double-breasted coats, Japanese denim and quilted perfectos.

“It was very easy to choose which styles to produce,” Rousteing says in a release. “These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids.”

Additional offerings include a white tuxedo jacket, a fur coat, a zebra-patterned top and a selection of shoes replicated from the runway. Prices range from $205 for a sleeveless patterned tee to $6,000 for an embroidered black dress.

Items will be available exclusively at Balmain boutiques and at balmain.com
