Louis Vuitton Launches Customizable Mother’s Day E-Card

Give the gift of love and luxury this Mother’s Day

While Mother’s Day (May 10) this year may not be celebrated with brunch at a restaurant—eggs Florentine and a bottle of Dom Pérignon in a tableside ice bucket—or with pampering at a day spa, we can still show our mothers and relatives how much we love them. They are, of course, the most important women in our lives; our role models, heroes, best friends. If you’re living with your mom, you can spend the day together. There are always the old standbys: serve her breakfast in bed, or cook her a gourmet dinner. And if you’re celebrating apart, you might send her flowers, perfume, or a personalized Louis Vuitton e-card.

Louis Vuitton has launched its first interactive e-card service on lousivuitton.com. A user can completely customize their card with a personal, from-the-heart message and a choice of stationary, patches, and gifs with signature LV motifs like the Flower Trunk, Petite Malle, LV mascot Vivienne, and the brand’s iconic monogram. After previewing the card, it’s sent immediately to its recipient. Available to all, the card-making service is complimentary—no purchase required. But it may be nice to send a little gift along with the card (you can receive free delivery by Mother’s Day if you place an order online before May 5). Maybe a scarf, or a pochette?
