Newly reopened after a multi-million dollar renovation, Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort provides an unparalleled beachfront experience for families and couples alike. Located on a stunning and swimmable stretch of beach between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, the property features seven dining options and two swimming pools with swim-up bars. Vela, an Italian restaurant incorporating fresh Mexican ingredients, is a standout, as is the expansive infinity pool, with its spectacular ocean views and opportunities for whale watching.
Each of the 375 guestrooms offers a private balcony and faces the Sea of Cortez; tastefully decorated with local textiles and furnishings, they celebrate the Baja Peninsula’s unique heritage and culture. Its 7,000-square-foot Eforea spa features 15 treatment rooms, three pedicure stations and four manicure tables, as well as a new Zen Garden and Movement Studio that will offer activities like spinning, tabata, TRX and yoga. The introduction of a living herb wall will allow spa guests to handpick their own herbs to be included their treatment.
Below, Tim Booth, general manager of Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, tells us about the property’s most sought-after room.
The most requested room:
The Presidential Suite continues to be a favorite among our most prestigious guests.
What makes it so special:
It’s a special one-off suite, but also part of La Vista Club, the hotel’s new ‘hotel within a hotel’ concept. La Vista Club includes 65 suites offering guests personal butler services and unique, members-only amenities such as separate check-in and lounge, a vacation concierge, private pool cabanas, and complimentary culinary creations for its members.
With a private terrace and two balconies (one including a Jacuzzi off the king bedroom), guests have three amazing viewpoints overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The interiors include unique styling with clean-lined furnishings, textile accents, and woven pillows and throws that reflect Mexico’s rich textile history. With plenty of room for guests, the suite offers both a king and double bedroom, each with walk-in closets and private bathrooms with whirlpool tubs. The communal space, great for entertaining, includes a separate living and dining room, wet bar, foyer, and powder room.
The rate:
$1,000-1,500 off-peak and $3,500 for peak rates.
Your personal favorite:
The suites on the fourth floor are some of my favorite rooms.
Because…
They are positioned above the Azul lobby bar and offer an extended balcony overlooking the resort’s beloved infinity pool and the Sea of Cortez.
Fun Fact:
The hotel’s lobby bar, Azul, features the largest collection of tequila in Los Cabos, while a new hat shop on the property, El Sombrero, features more than 15 handcrafted fashions.
