The Shore Club has been one of Miami Beach’s buzziest properties since it opened 14 years ago on Collins Avenue. And it’s still the place to be. As part of the Morgans Hotel Group, the hotel was an early pioneer of the movement toward boutique-style properties.
The no-frills but comfortable rooms—there are 309 in total—are minimally decorated with taupe cecil rugs, stone floors and white furniture. The beds have crisp white 300-threadcount linens and down-filled pillows, and the spacious sandstone bathrooms feature glass-enclosed wet rooms with a rainfall shower and large tub, plus Malin + Goetz products.
The hotel boasts a private beach area and bustling pools (quite a scene on weekends) with cozy Moroccan beds and Turkish loungers—perfect for sipping on fresh mint Mojitos, the house specialty. The dining options, a Nobu for dinner, Skybar for drinks and Terrazza for all-day dining, are scattered around the resort’s lush tropical gardens and outdoor water features.

Fun fact:
While Shore Club is an Art Deco-style property down to the landmarked Art Deco lobby, the hotel was designed by British modernist David Chipperfield. Chipperfield designed the property’s labyrinthine gardens in the style of the Yves Saint Laurent-designed Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech.
