The International Athletic Association is bringing back the Jesse Owens International Athlete Trophy Gala to pay homage to the 81st anniversary of the athlete’s historic Olympic track and field triumph in the Berlin Olympics. The IAA hosts high school and college seminars for student athletes to encourage the same honesty, integrity, and perseverance that Jesse Owens’ displayed in his historic win.

Two big-time athletes will be recognized on this special evening; Serena Williams will receive the “Best Athlete in the World” award and the late Muhammad Ali will be honored with the 2017 “Jesse Owens Global Award for Peace.”

Gold Medal table reservations are $40,000. This includes 10 seats; a pre-gala cocktail invitation; and a full-page ad in the program booklet, in addition to a private reception with Jesse Owens’ daughters the evening of April 26th. Proceeds from the event support the Jesse Owens Foundation.

Today is the last day to purchase tickets to the April 27th gala.
