VS Angel Grace Elizabeth Talks the 2017 Shanghai Show

The model and face of Victoria’s Secret PINK reveals her favorite beauty buys and why a mini trampoline is a must-have

In anticipation of the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on November 28th in Shanghai, we caught up with VS PINK model Grace Elizabeth, who is currently preparing to walk in the iconic fashion show for a second year in a row.

During the pre-show craziness, Grace Elizabeth made time to swing by West Virginia University for the annual PINK Nation University event—the college had won PINK’s collegiate competition, beating out 2,000 other schools in three days of competition on the PINK Nation App. In celebration of the victory, PINK created a multi-sensory PINK house with instagram-ready themed rooms, giveaways, musical performances and a visit from VS PINK models Grace Elizabeth and Zuri Tibby themselves. We spoke with Grace Elizabeth during the event about her beauty must-haves and how she’ll calm her nerves before stepping on this year’s Victoria’s Secret runway.

What was it like when you got the call that you had been cast in this year’s VS Show?

It was a dream come true all over again! This will be my second year walking and I am still as nervous as last year. I was also so excited to hear that the show would be in Shanghai, as I’ve never been.

What did you learn at last year’s show that surprised you?

I was surprised at how fast it went. You are prepping for hours and then in 60 seconds it’s over!

Do you get nervous beforehand? If so, how do you calm down before showtime?

Yes I get nervous! To calm myself down I sing a Bobby Bare song “Marie Laveau. I started singing that song to myself when I was 13 years old and would have to prep for Volleyball games. It’s so silly and fun.

What is your fitness routine like leading up to the show?

I work out all year round but my favorites are boxing and pilates. I recently just bought a mini trampoline for my apartment. After work, I’ll jump on it for 30 minutes and sweat so much!

What is your day-to-day beauty routine like?

When I wake up I put a washcloth with hot water on my face, then I put Vitamin E oil all over my skin and wash it off with another warm wash cloth. Then, I put a cold washcloth on my face to close my pores. I then use Embryolisse moisturizer.

#1 favorite beauty must-have?

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Mask

What are your winter style essentials?

The new VS PINK Date Bra, Gucci leather and wool jacket and Sorel winter boots.
