The Golden Globes weren’t the only metallic sheen on Hollywood’s mind this week, as LoveGold, the curators of the world’s top gold jewelry designers, toasted Downton Abbey nominee Michelle Dockery with a bijoux-bedecked intimate luncheon at Chateau Marmont’s Selma House.
On hand to celebrate the occasion were Anna Kendrick, who wore flaunted arm candy from Fernando Jorge for the occasion. “This bracelet is everything, I am thinking of stealing it. Don’t tell anyone,” she joked. “It’s hard to find bracelets for chicken wrists like mine!”
Honoree Dockery also glittered in gold pieces from David Yurman paired with her Barbara Cassola dress. Dockery also admitted a partiality towards gold hoops as of late—but remained mum on her dress for the big day. Exhibiting no signs of nervousness ahead of award show, Dockery reflected on her aha moment when she realized acing was her calling. “It was a series at home called Cracker, with Robbie Coltrane. Samantha Morton was in an episode. It was a performance like that which made me want to be an actor.” Amen for that.
