Never-Before-Seen Works from Christo and Jeanne-Claude

Hexton Gallery in Aspen presents an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the power couple’s Colorado “Valley Curtain” project

The Hexton Gallery in Aspen has opened an exhibition showcasing never-before-seen works from public-art pioneers Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s private collection. Christo & Jeanne-Claude: Ephemeral Nature is the artists’ first in the U.S. since Christo’s passing in May 2020.

The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Foundation, marks the 50th anniversary of the “Valley Curtain” installation in Rifle, Colorado.
