Hermès Horses Around

The French heritage brand focuses on the equine with a new collection of technical riding apparel

Harness makers and saddlers since 1837, the house of Hermès has extended its collections by pairing the excellence of its saddlery craftsmanship with constant innovation, offering a full complement of equipment for the hose, rider and stables. In so doing, the French brand has been selected by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) as the official supplier of technical riding apparel and accessories to U.S. Teams in the eight international equestrian disciplines. U.S. partner riders Nicholas Dello Joio and Lillie Keenan have already show off some of the new gear at the American Gold Cup (held in North Salem, New York in mid-September). The collection includes saddle pads and earnets for horses and competition jackets, shirts, breeches, waterproof jackets and coats and caps for riders.

“We are delighted to support equestrian excellence,” says Hermès U.S. CEO Robert B. Chavez. “For competitive riders and members of the public being introduced to Show Jumping for the first time alike, the American Gold Cup perfectly represents the beauty, elegance and excitement of this dynamic sport in perfect alignment with the values of the House.”

The collection is available at the brand’s Madison Avenue and North Rodeo Drive boutiques as well as on hermes.com.
