Baccarat Hosts Poker Club in New York Boutique

The high roller event, in partnership with World Poker Tour, was attended by professional poker players and high-profile guests

If you’ve ever dreamt of gambling for luxury goods, look no further than Baccarat’s High Rollers Club VIP event, hosted on July 17 at the Baccarat Boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City. The famed crystal craftsmen welcomed about 50 or so attendees, featuring five professional poker players and high-profile guests including magician David Blane, lifestyle authority Colin Cowie, and Baccarat CEO Jim Shreve, among others.

The exclusive event, which featured its own poker tournament in partnership with World Poker Tour, offered guests a glimpse into the world of high-end gambling, although it featured no buy-in. As far as ambiance goes, the windows of the Madison Avenue venue were blacked out to prevent prying eyes and ensure complete privacy. The night’s tunes were handled by DJ Mad Marj, celebrity DJ, socialite, and CEO of Vie Luxe International, Marjorie Gubelmann.
