The stylish set ended New York Fashion Week with a bang at a cocktail reception celebrating the launch of Galop d’Hermès. The first scent made for the brand by perfumer Christine Nagel, Galop was presented to the public with a gorgeous dance performance that blended the femininity of ballet with the strong and impactful ethos of more modern choreography. Nagel then spoke about finding inspiration for the fragrance among the various leathers at house of Hermès, and the scent was blasted out of a cannon along with a flurry of petals.
“Galop d’Hermès is actually a manifesto, a manifesto of the femininity of Hermès. It was born out of a foundational moment, and its history starts in the leather vaults of the house,” said Nagel.
