Chanel has opened a new boutique at The Shops at Crystals, housing the brand’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, costume jewelry and accessories, watches and fine jewelry. The 7,500-square-foot boutique, designed by New York-based architect Peter Marino, has an entirely new aesthetic reflecting the House’s modern ethos.
A double-height, black-and-white stone façade references Gabrielle Chanel’s Parisian universe and features plaster wall coverings. Goossens custom rock crystal and bronze chandeliers glitter overhead, Louis XV armchairs and artwork by Peter Dayton and Glenn Ligon honor the Maison’s aesthetic codes.
