Groovy Coffee is a female-founded coffee company by sisters, Danielle and Nicole Kramer. Tired of bitter, burnt coffee, they spent over a decade perfecting their own. Crafted from 100% Colombian Supremo beans and infused with a hint of cinnamon, Groovy Coffee features a rich, full body with nutty overtones and a smooth finish.
When it came time to brand their creation, the sisters noticed something striking: the coffee aisle looked overwhelmingly masculine. “So many coffee brands are named after men or are anchored in the same primary colors like blue, red, green, and yellow,” Danielle notes. Women, despite being major coffee consumers, are rarely centered in the category. “We wanted to build something feminine-forward and a brand that matches the way coffee makes people feel.” That realization inspired the company’s signature identity, a vibrant design with a name centered on mood.
In creating the packaging, the sisters were equally intentional about function and sustainability. They wanted the tin to be as conscious as it is beautiful, designed not just to catch the eye, but to have a second life long after the last scoop of coffee is gone. Each tin can be upcycled into a stylish holder for makeup brushes, kitchen utensils, pencils, and more—blending function, sustainability, and design in one feel-good package. It’s packaging with purpose.
Groovy Coffee is available for purchase through its website, groovycoffee.com, offering flexible subscriptions, 20% savings, and multi-pack discounts. It is also sold at select stores including Duryea’s Market and L&W Market in the Hamptons, Last Minute Market in New Jersey, and is available to retailers nationwide via Faire Wholesale. Groovy Coffee will debut two new products this holiday season — Decaf and Whole Bean — adding even more ways to enjoy your daily ritual.
