St. Tropez Meets Sin City

One New York City restaurant spreads its joie de vivre poolside, to Las Vegas

Move over, Mandalay Bay – there’s a new beach in town.

Bagetelle NYC restaurant owners Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba, along with The One Group, are bringing their restaurant and (in)famous champagne brunch extravaganza poolside to Las Vegas—just in time for Cinco de Mayo!

Bagatelle Beach will open as an outdoor extension of the Tropicana Las Vegas, offering its clientele all the amenities that the St. Tropez-inspired brand is known for: copious cabanas, boozy bottle service, and, of course, a full menu from executive chef John Zamarchi. After imbibing, guests can relax in the sun on daybeds—and lily pads—situated in and around two pools while listening to live DJ sets. And for those more interested in athletics than alcohol, the space even includes two regulation-size beach volleyball courts that can be turned into a full-length soccer field.

“We are excited about Bagatelle Beach as we are about to bring a different pool feel to Las Vegas,” said Laba, a co-owner of the new space.

“At Bagatelle Beach, it won’t be only about the party,” the restaurateur continued, “but also about the resort feel and ‘joie de vivre’ where enjoying a good meal, being able to gamble poolside, and playing team sports will be as important as partying like you were in Vegas.”

For an ulta-luxe experience, check out the 18 private cabanas. Each is equipped with mini fridges and flat screen TVs with surround sound, but try to snag the most exclusive one—it has its own private Jacuzzi, and a view of the entire 4,000-person venue.

At Bagatelle Beach, what happens in the cabanas stays in the cabanas.
