7:00 AM: Wake up and get my children Luca, Pia and Romeo off to school. It’s always hectic in the morning and not always easy getting everyone off at the same time!
8:00 AM: Quick walk in Central Park with my husband, Gregg, to get some fresh air and take a moment before we go our separate ways for the day.
9:00 AM: Check in at my new studio and social club, The Pearl. We have been under construction for seven months and are just weeks away from opening. The Pearl is a members-only club dedicated to health, wellness and personal growth for girls, teens and women. We offer a variety of classes and workshops focused on fitness, personal development, teamwork and self-care.
9:30 AM: Color touch up with the one and only Reyad Fritas at Suite Reyad. Reyad has been coloring my hair since 2005!
12:30pm: Ran to Lincoln Center to help load for the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Gala tonight. YAGP is the world’s largest ballet scholarship program, providing critical pathways to ballet for under-resourced communities. I brought the tabletop disco ball clusters that my team and I made using disco balls, hot glue and faux florals! I have to drop off at the doorway; union rules!!
1:00pm: Loading in our 4-foot 3D printed pointe shoe we repurposed from last year's gala. We stripped it down, repainted it and added disco balls and faux florals to match with this year's theme.
2:00pm: Ran home for a quick lunch that my mom made me! Baby romaine with fresh sautéed chicken, avocado and an egg topped with Fancy Peasant olive oil.
4:00pm: In the car headed back to Lincoln Center with my Oscar de la Renta dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes for the gala. Hair by Hos and makeup by me!
5:30pm: Put my dress on and walk through the room for some last minute touch ups.
6:00pm: Placed all of the pointe shoes that 17 designers and artists created for YAGP’s Pointe Project auction including Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, LoveShackFancy and Alice + Olivia.
6:30pm: My friends and family arrive! My mom and daughter Pia were the first to come.
7:00pm: Showtime! Paris Opera Ballet’s Germain Louvet and Hannah O’Neill (YAGP alumna) performing Le Parc by Angelin Prejlocaj.
8:00pm: With some of my YAGP Gala committee girls (Lina Wallach and Lesley Vecsler), honoring my dear friend Sarah Hoover!
9:00pm: Party with all of my supportive guests!!
