Pixel Vortex by The Windmill Factory
Do you remember wearing mood rings when you were younger? Or now, because everything comes back in style. Pixel Vortex acts as a mood ring but on a much larger scale. Built by The Windmill Factory, a creative collective out of Brooklyn, past projects include The Wedge for Burning Man, Pixel Forest, and last year’s Right Passage at Panorama Lab. Pixel Vortex will ask the question, “How will I affect the world today with my energy?” as you enter the world’s largest mood ring and then watch as your energy is personified.
Infinite Wild by Smooth Technology
Smooth Technology is celebrated for taking technology to another level–a more fun level. Utilizing robotics, music, art and programming, this group of artist-engineers has created a custom LED bra for Katy Perry, an autonomous pizza-fetching robot and now, Infinite Wild. The solar-powered installation will transport viewers through a world of mirrored ceilings, 60,000 LEDs and a floor platform. Savor the cooling mist upon entering and refill your reusable water bottle on your way out of this nature-inspired environment.

As Above, So Below by Kate Raudenbush
Created by Kate Raudenbush, a Burning Ban-bred artist, you can be sure this geometric gathering space will be epic and slightly mind-altering. Inspired by the fractal shape on Sierpinski icosahedrons, all are welcome to enter and contemplate at As Above, So Below. The overall goal of the installation is to ask people to consider how each of our actions or non-actions might affect the larger world in positive ways.
