Joe Alwyn stars opposite Margaret Qualley in the romantic thriller Stars at Noon, which won the Festival’s Grand Prix prize, by French film director Claire Denis. The English actor is also co-starring in the Hulu series Conversations with Friends, based on the hit Sally Rooney novel of the same name.

Olivia DeJonge

Olivia DeJonge can be seen starring as Priscilla Presley in the new biopic Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, which received a 12-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. The Australian actress can also be seen playing the daughter of Kathleen Peterson in the HBO Max limited series The Staircase, based on the true-crime docuseries.

The Guyananese-British actress made her Cannes debut in the drama The Silent Twins, based on the lives of twins June and Jennifer Gibbons, who refused to communicate with anyone other than each other. Best known for her role as Shuri in Marvel’s Black Panther, Wright will be seen this November in its highly anticipated sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Lashana Lynch will next be seen in Gina Prince-Bythewood’s historical epic The Woman King, and then in Matthew Warchus’ musical film adaptation of the book and musical Matilda. Earlier this year, the English actress reprised her role as Captain Marvel in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Devon Ross

Model Devon Ross makes her acting debut in Olivier Assayas’ new eight-part HBO limited series Irma Vep alongside Alicia Vikander. The remake of Assayas’ 1996 film classic had its world premiere at Cannes and in it, Ross plays Regina, the personal assistant to American movie star Mira (played by Vikander).
