7:00 AM: My day usually starts with coffee and cookbooks. Yup, I’m that person that thinks about what we’re having for dinner while having breakfast. I actually find that menu planning jumpstarts my brain and creativity in the morning. My recent go-to’s are the Il Buco cookbook, Dan Kluger’s Chasing Flavor and Fuschia Dunlop’s Land of Fish and Rice for Chinese ideas...and I know I’m onto something good when Gigi starts licking my face in approval.
