12pm: Drop your bags and head immediately to the pool. Settle into a cabana and order a fresh-pressed green juice.
10:30pm: Grab a pre-performance cocktail at the bar just outside of the venue, then take your seat for the 11:00pm showing of C’est Rouge at Faena Theater. A cozy 150-person space houses Faena’s new cabaret-style review, which will instantly wake you from your food coma. C’est Rouge mixes jazz, Latin dance and R&B with acrobatics, drummers and glass-shattering vocalists, but it’s worth checking out for the costumes alone—Christian Louboutin designed the performers’ footwear.
DAY 2:
10am: Order in-room dining for breakfast (the dulce de leche French toast is divine) then make your way to Tierra Santa Healing House, Faena’s stunning spa. It’s best to arrive an hour prior to your treatment so that you’re able to enjoy the amenities—namely, the Wet Spa. Book Tierra Santa’s Bathing Ritual and you’ll come out feeling like a newborn. The treatment starts with a purifying scrub in the herbal steam room, followed by an Amazonian white clay in the Hammam, before ending with a nourishing oil on a heated stone bed.
12pm: Resist the urge to roll your eyes at the idea of a treatment called “Tree of Life Vibrations.” The 120-minute therapy involves a massage with sacred oils, interspersed with singing “sound bowls,” which are used to relax points of tension around the body. It works wonders.
7:30pm: Indulge in an Asian fusion feast for dinner at Pao by Paul Qui. The seasonal menu features inventive dishes like sea urchin with grilled sweet corn pudding and sake aioli, which you’ll enjoy under the watchful eye of the Golden Myth Unicorn, another awe-inspiring piece by Damien Hirst.
10:00pm: Settle into a comfy couch at the Living Room, an intimate space within the hotel that’s consistently packed with beautiful people. Order a nightcap while enjoying live music (the acts rotate each evening) before returning to your suite for a blissful night’s rest.
