Called the “loveliest [lake] in Africa” by Ernest Hemingway, the Lake Manyara region of Tanzania is home to myriad plants, a variety of bird species and endless game, including elephants, giraffes, buffalos, wildebeests, and, most notably, tree-climbing lions.
