This 4-acre estate situated on a private cul-de-sac in Pacific Palisades, California was once the home to actress Michelle Pfeiffer and her husband David E. Kelley. The home was sold in 2001 and the new owners enlisted interior designer Michael S. Smith who famously designed the White House during the Obama administration. Smith helped the owners revitalize the home to an even more luxurious state while celebrating its history that dates back to 1935. The 6,250-square-foot space was recently listed for $19.9 million with Aaron Kirman, Liz Gottainer and Jeeb O’Reilly, of Aaron Kirman group at Compass..
The private compound features five structures across the property including the main house, pool house, staff house, stables-turned-gym, and a two-story guest house. The main house boasts four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a rustic-style kitchen, an elegant library with dramatic spiral staircase, and of course, multiple living spaces for entertaining.
