“I always make a point to visit the open-air markets whenever I’m in Europe. While I love to try all of the local restaurants, there is usually a day or two where I take advantage of the super fresh food and have a picnic lunch. This trip I was obsessed with the peaches most of all—so delicious!”
“My sister is a great travel companion and she’s always willing to help test out my newest collection. I wore my Charlottes and she wore the brand-new Cypress slides. I love both of these styles because they are wearable, chic, and versatile; they go with just about any outfit. We had so much fun showing off our shoes, as well as the beautiful flowers that we saw everywhere!”
“This is another one of my favorite moments from Saint-Paul de Vence. Not only were the flowers and bougainvillea stunning, each and every exterior made me want to stop and take a photo. The texture of the stone, the curved windows tucked into the walls, and the way that nature is incorporated into every home was so inspirational to me. That intersection of color and material is something I always take into account when sketching new styles.”
“This is at the Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild; it was my favorite place that we visited. The gardens were stunning, and there was incredible art in the mansion—it was filled with antiques, sculptures, and an amazing collection of rare porcelain. To be surrounded by such spectacular art, sprawling gardens, and history was both inspirational and humbling.”
