It doesn’t get much better than breakfast with a view of the Eiffel Tower at the Shangri-La Paris.
I’ve seen my fair share of gorgeous hotel bathrooms, but this one (also at the Shangri-La) might just take the cake.
Sometimes it’s the simplest travel experiences—like people-watching for hours at a classic French cafe—that end up being the most enjoyable. Especially when there’s rosé involved.

The best way to work off a four-hour lunch? Shopping, of course. I spent a few hours strolling through Palais Royale, which has some incredible boutiques (like Didier Ludot and Gabrielle Geppert) for vintage haute couture.
There’s a reason why the concept store Colette has such a crazy cult-following. Within the 8,000-square-foot designer boutique, there’s a bookshop, café, exhibition space, sneakers, clothes, gadgets and more.
