For all the Derby day action, The Wilson is showing the race on a big screen projector on the front patio. Horse racing fans can enjoy four hours of open bar, a live DJ, pop-a-shot, giant jenga, and more for $60 per person. The Wilson is located in INNSiDE by Meliá New York NoMad and table requests are available upon request.
To celebrate this year’s Kentucky Derby, Refinery Rooftop, Winnie’s Jazz Bar and Refinery Hotel are hosting their annual, hotel-wide Derby party. Enjoy four hours of open bar spread across three different venues and three unique parties. Guests can indulge in classic Mint Juleps, Millionaire’s Row champagne bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and more as they dance to live music and several live DJs. Just before the race, the best dressed guest will be rewarded with a trip to next year’s Kentucky Derby. Tickets are $150.
Boulton & Watt is creating the ultimate race day experience for all those who can’t make it to Louisville this year. The bar will be transformed into a makeshift Churchill Downs, complete with artificial turf, inflatable horses and derby duds. Bulleit Bourbon Juleps and Ketel One Botanical Spritzes will be served and a $100 Boulton & Watt gift card will be awarded to the best hat in the house.
Come to The Roof dressed in your big hats and stunning florals for an afternoon all about the big race, the Kentucky Derby. The event will feature Derby day inspired food and Mint Julep drink specials, a DJ playing southern jazz, as well as a costume contest where winners will receive a gift certificate to The Roof.
Watch the race and sip on Derby inspired cocktails at The Ribbon Midtown on Saturday, May 4th. No tickets required but be sure to come dressed in your best Kentucky Derby inspired outfit. The party will feature a DJ and four specialty cocktails, including a Woodford Reserve Mint Julep, Keeneland Breeze, Derby Day Bloody Mary and Watermelon Martini.
Ocean Prime New York, the modern American restaurant and lounge from renowned restaurateur Cameron Mitchell, and Hudson Whiskey are hosting a Kentucky Derby viewing party in the Lounge of Ocean Prime New York. Guests can enjoy a one-night-only cocktail menu inspired by this year’s top seven horses in contention for The Kentucky Derby title and three custom Hudson Whiskey cocktails. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best Derby attire for step and repeat photo opportunities and to enter the “Best Dressed” contest for a chance to win a complimentary bottle of Hudson Whiskey.
