Tone House
If you played sports during school or played professionally—or simply want to experience a nonstop, team-oriented workout—Tone House is your best bet. Led by two coaches, “practice” begins with a heart-raising warm up only to be followed by greuling, targeted exercises (most of which derive from the sport of American football) that leave you feeling equally tired and empowered. Take it from one workout enthusiast to another: begin your Tone House journey with a TH 101 level class, and work your way up to any of the studio’s more specific training courses like Conditioning and Core. The full hour class will feel more like a sports practice than anything—for people who may want less of a music-oriented, choreographed class—and prepare to be pushed to your highest physical capacity in the best possible way. It also doesn’t hurt that, as an added bonus, athletes can expect to lose anywhere from 600 to 1,000 calories per class. Classes are priced at $40/training session.
