In The Nude: 2014’s Stand-Out Color

Whether embellished and dressed up or done in subtle monotone, natural skin tones are having a major moment in a covered-up season

Somewhere between the winter whites and cool pastels on the fall 2014 runways there was Armani’s Privé collection. The designer’s latest couture creations, done entirely in a neutral palette, harkens back to the ’90s when minimalism was at its peak. And following the tradition of Mr. Armani’s smart, wearable womenswear, the designer also debuted the “Nude” capsule collection of ready-to-wear pieces (including a tailored jacket, trousers, shoes and handbags) made in the same vein, and color, as his 2014 couture.

Giorgio isn’t the only one feeling for winter nudes. Click through the gallery to see DuJour’s eight favorite skin-tone looks available now.
