Veronique Branquinho’s Stacking Bracelets

Accessory DuJour : Wooden bracelets inspire a modern way to go sleeveless for fall.

To supplement an eclectic collection of monochromatic separates, Belgian-born designer Veronique Branquinho included plenty of accessories in her fall 2013 presentation during Paris Fashion Week – most notably chunky, clunky wooden bracelets stacked from mid-hand to just below the elbow. Miraculously, the opulent lower-arm jumble didn’t appear over the top (natural materials at work), and looked seamless with both fully covered and sleeveless ensembles. It might not be the most practical look (unless you want very subtle, day-long workout), but it’s one we’ll give a shot.
