The edgy and modern French fashion retailer The Kooples[1] tapped supermodel Barbara Palvin[2] for their latest launch. Palvin joined the brand as co-designer of the first-ever box bag, which was inspired by the vintage classic cosmetics case style. The Barbara by The Kooples Box Bag comes in a mid-size for everyday use as well as a mini version for a night out when you only need the essentials. While the bag is available in a range of colors and textures as well as different sizes, there is always a chic and cool aesthetic to the accessory. Palvin considers freedom of expression a great honor and The Kooples has always given their customers choices, so when the two teamed up, having options was of utmost importance.
In addition to having Palvin work on designing the newest launch, Palvin and boyfriend Dylan Sprouse[3] were chosen as the brand’s muses and ambassadors for the Fall/Winter 2019 campaign. The Kooples chose to revisit the brand’s rock and roll roots and channel a glam rock vibe. The couple offered their bold attitudes as individuals and a couple and photographer Zoey Grossman perfectly captured their spirit.
The bag will be available in several leather finishing variations including classic black and red, a crocodile texture in red, navy, or black, and an almond faux-python. The collaborative launch will be available October 15 on kooples.com[4].
