Menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna[1], known for dressing the dapper dans of the social scene, has collaborated with streetwear standby Fear of God. The collection, to be debuted during Paris Fashion Week on March 2, couples both brands’ respective design specialities: Zegna’s expert tailoring and Fear of God’s expensive hypebeast aesthetics. So what can we expect? Two brands from different menswear[2] departments–one in the contemporary section, where the young crowd buys Golden Goose by the armload, and the other sold where men get fitted for $5,000 suits–have come together to form one capsule. Jerry Lorenzo, the founder of Fear of God, explained the crossover. “With a shared true desire to create the modern man[3]’s wardrobe, we partnered with Ermenegildo Zegna to establish a timeless collection rooted in freedom, sophistication, and elegance. Through this partnership, we’ve had the opportunity to bring our perspective of ‘American Luxury’ to the hands and craftsmanship of Italy’s best tailors.”

Alessandro Sartori, Ermenegildo Zegna’s artistic director, further commented on the unlikely pairing: “Zegna and Fear of God are both inspired by the same sentiment towards a unique craftsmanship, giving life to a new form of hybrid elegance and independent style.”
Could this capsule have the new must-have items worthy of waiting on a long New York line for? Well, sneakerheads–we hear the collection will include accessories.
