Nordstrom will soon launch SPACE, a new shop curated by Director of Creative Design Olivia Kim. The boutique will be focused on offering cross-category seasonal apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories collections from designers like Simone Rocha, Marques’Almeida, Jacquemus and more.
The cornerstone of SPACE is to bring “inspiration and education,” said Kim in a release. “Conceptually SPACE is very boutique-like, offering not just clothing or shoes but a full wardrobe in one small environment.” This concept seems to be wholly embraced, even down to the one-of-a-kind art and unique furniture from artists like Verner Panton and Kwangho Lee. SPACE will also have artistic elements and pops of color to set it aside from the rest of the store. For example, to locate the boutique, just look for its hot-pink mannequins.
SPACE will launch in four Nordstrom flagship locations and online[1] on August 20th.
