The ultimate meeting of comfort and luxury, German footwear maker Birkenstock[1] has collaborated with shoe designer Manolo Blahnik[2] on a capsule collection of sandals. With a career spanning 50 years[3], the Spanish-born Blahnik is one of the world’s most influential footwear designers. Packaged in an exclusive polka dot box, the second drop of the sandal styles come in monochromatic polka dots or with transparent straps. “Birkenstocks have been in my wardrobe since the very beginning (of time!),” says Blahnik. “I have loved and worn mine for many years. I am thrilled that we have been able to collaborate. Fusing the Manolo Blahnik aesthetic with the everyday comfort of Birkenstocks is simply wonderful!”
