On the eleventh hour of Fashion Week in New York, Tiffany & Co. celebrated its hugely anticipated Atlas Collection with a star-studded party at the Fifth Avenue flagship. Hosted by musician Karen Elson—the front woman for the campaign—along with fashion bloggers Aimee Song of Song of Style, Jessica Stein of Tuula and Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad, a high-wattage fashion set partied as if they haven’t been doing so all week to tunes spun by DJ Hannah Bronfman.

The Atlas collection, named for the Greek god who often holds a globe over his head, is a re-launch of the brand’s original Atlas collection introduced in 1995 to symbolize Tiffany’s worldwide impact on the luxury jewelry market. Slowly unveiled over the course of New York Fashion Week, the modern-day collection is classic and elegant, characterized by Roman numerals and grooved borders, finished with matte and polished surfaces.

The new pieces are designed to complement any look. “I’m a mother, model, musician and world traveler,” Karen Elson told DuJour before the party, “and the simple fact that this collection is so deeply versatile immediately drew me to this collaboration.”

Here, more from Elson about her role in the Atlas campaign, her number-one style tip for fall, and what’s next for her music career.

What was it like to work with Tiffany & Co. on the campaign?
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tiffany & Co. in the past, so when they presented the collection to me it felt bold, sophisticated and perennially fresh—like a perfect fit for me. Atlas is an illustration of the style and femininity of today’s fashionable women, and this truly resonated with me.

What makes the Atlas collection so special?
The juxtaposition of modern, strong and bold design of the Atlas Collection combined with the clean style and femininity of each of the pieces. They’re also deeply versatile—whether I’m running around New York City for fashion week, traveling abroad for a shoot or spending time with my family, pieces in the collection transition seamlessly to make me feel classic and chic.

Do you have a favorite piece from the collection?
I’ve been wearing a gorgeous pair of mini hoop earrings that I absolutely adore. I am also completely drawn to the hinged bangle that I am wearing in the campaign image: The strong lines and contemporary design of that bracelet make it a simply elegant piece.

Any favorite fall style tips?
While trends come and go, and style evolves, it’s important to have pieces of jewelry that are timeless and look chic despite ever-changing fashions.

What’s next for you, besides modeling for New York Fashion Week?
I will eventually make another record, so right now I’m writing songs for it.
