James Franco’s Latest Artistic Endeavor? A Shoe Commercial

The actor directs a short film for luxury shoe brand Stuart Weitzman

Appearing on General Hospital, staging guerilla art exhibits, writing short stories and snoring through grad school—it’s never to easy to predict what James Franco will be up to next. His latest unguessable project? Helming a short film for uxury shoe company Stuart Weitzman. The work, which has been broken into four segments, follows model Petra Nemcova as she takes a late-night stroll in, what else, her favorite heels.

Titled “Walking After Midnight,” the film is being shown in installments each week on the Stuart Weitzman Facebook page; the entire project premieres in its entirety on Oct. 26. Check out this week’s segment below
