This year marks the 30th anniversary for one of the true doyennes of fashion, Donna Karan. For her celebratory runway show held last night on Wall Street, the designer sent out models with slicked hair by Eugene Souleiman and striking metallic eyes by MAC’s Charlotte Tilbury. The girls were Karan’s urban warriors—each bold beauty look representing the city that has inspired her eponymous label for the last three decades. With punkish faces and unmovable hair, these girls were ready to take on anything, whether in Karan’s iconic Seven Easy Pieces or one of her bright red gowns. Now what’s more New York than that?
