Audemars Piguet Unveils a Shining Reinvention

Forty years after launching Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet[1] is celebrating the milestone with an epic collaboration. Italian jewelry designer Carolina Bucci applied her distinct Florentine style to a modern interpretation of Jacqueline Dimier’s original design, resulting in Royal Oak Frosted Gold. The watch’s defining feature is its shimmery finish, created through a surfacing treatment that stems from an ancient gold hammering technique.
