It’s finally summertime in the city! After the past few months, we’re excited for vacation season and all the great social media action that will come with it.
In March, we thoroughly enjoyed our spring break escape at the famed Brazilian Court Hotel—a Palm Beach institution that continues to be as luxurious today as it was when it opened almost a century ago.
In April, we hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate one of today’s most talked-about brands, Shinola, at Ian Schrager’s Pump Room at the Public Chicago. Back in New York, we also hosted an event at Fendi Casa with Rayon Black and Daniel Lombardi, catered by Andrea Correale at Elegant Affairs, to fête chef Marc Murphy’s new book, Season with Authority.
As April turned to May, we were delighted to celebrate society icon Paris Hilton at Jason Strauss and Noah Tepperberg’s rooftop lounge, PH-D at the Dream Hotel. What’s more, at the 2015 Webby Awards, DuJour was an honoree in three categories: Website/Magazine, Social/Culture & Lifestyle and App/Lifestyle, with competitors including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, The Hollywood Reporter, The Financial Times, Tory Burch and Target.
On the cover of this issue, we are so happy to have my dear friends and today’s most charismatic Hollywood couple: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen photographed by Bruce Weber. They are as inspiring in their grace and kindness as they are attractive and talented, and it’s no wonder the world can’t get enough of them. Not to mention, they’re so much fun, and that’s what makes them perfect for our summer issue.
