From its picturesque location on the Adriatic Coast to the charming stone villas that surround three different swimming pools, there are plenty of impressive elements about Borgo Egnazia[1] in Puglia, Italy. (Perhaps most noteworthy is the fact that the resort played host to the wedding of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel in October 2012.) Inspired by historic Puglian villages, the resort boasts 63 rooms in addition to private villas and townhouses, but which one do guests request most often? Borgo Egnazia’s General Manager, Marco Truffelli, fills us in below.

Most requested room in the hotel:
“La Corte Magnifica Sea View.”

What makes it special:
“The interiors are a perfect blend between traditional Mediterranean style and contemporary design. La Corte is the main central building where many of Borgo Egnazia’s services, such as restaurant Due Camini and Spa Vair, are located. The balconies and terraces offer wonderful views over the Adriatic Sea or millenary olive trees and the Murge hills.”

Your personal favorite:
“La Casetta Magnifica.”

Because…
“Of its unique feeling: it’s like experiencing life in a Puglian village. The Casettas are two-story townhouses, inspired by those of local villages and historic towns. Absolutely a ‘nowhere else’ experience!”

Celebrity guests:
“At Borgo Egnazia, we respect the privacy of our guests.” (Editor’s note: Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got married here)

The rate:
“The Corte Magnifica is €690 per night (approximately $933 USD).”

Fun fact:
Borgo (which means “village” in Italian) Egnazia is nestled among ancient olive trees and is influenced by the rich history of the region—it’s built entirely of indigenous materials traditional to local architecture.
