Drink DuJour: Beetlejuice Cocktail

This concoction is inspired by the iconic movie’s Broadway adaptation and is perfect for the spooky season

The 1988 movie Beetlejuice has not lost any of its charm over the past decades. Starring Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, and a mesmerizing Winona Ryder, the fantastical film created an alternate universe where the living are actually scarier than the dead. More than 20 years after the film’s release, Beetlejuice the Musical has been produced for the Broadway stage and to celebrate, we have the cocktail just for you. Ordinarily you might not want to say *his* name three times, but this cocktail is worth it. Electric green in color and somewhat visually intimidating, this vibrant rum-based drink is actually quite sweet, similar to Betelgeuse himself.

The Theatre Menu at Ocean Prime New York is ideal for a pre-Broadway bite, and while we suggest checking out the theatrical adaptation of Beetlejuice, any Broadway musical will do the trick. Visit Ocean Prime New York any time during the month of October to taste this fascinating concoction inspired by Beetlejuice the Musical, and start the Halloween season right. See below for the complete recipe for Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.
