RUMba, an extensive specialty rum bar at the Casa Marina resort in Key West, is serving up a unique cocktail that’ll transport you to sandy beaches and blue skies. It’s even topped with caramel sauce for an extra treat.
“Monkey Spiced Rum already has all the flavors we were looking for—cinnamon, buttery caramel and a surprising hint of coconut,” says RUMba Head Bartender Galina Kalinkova. “RumChata is a cream-based liqueur and is a hot topic these days. It blends rum, cream and unique flavors from six different countries!”
Here’s how to make it.
THE WINTER DAIQUIRI
1½ oz. Monkey Spiced Rum
1½ oz. RumChata
½ oz. Kahlúa
1½ oz. Half & Half
¼ oz. Caramel sauce
Shake all of the ingredients together and strain into a glass rimmed with cinnamon. Add a cinnamon stick to garnish and top with caramel sauce.
