Overlooking the historic Neptune Plaza, Madrid’s Westin Palace Hotel has been providing guests with luxury accommodations in the heart of the Spanish capital for over a century.

Originally commissioned by King Alfonso XIII it houses 467 rooms and luxuriously appointed suites and is centrally located near the El Retiro Park and El Prado Museum. Guests can enjoy a cocktail at the 1912 Museo Bar—Ernest Hemingway was a regular—or dine under the Belle Epoque dome in the hotel’s rotonda.

DuJour turned to Paloma Garcia of The Westin Palace Madrid for an insider perspective on the hotel’s most sought after room.
