Pumpkin spice lovers, rejoice. Steadily dropping temperatures, increasingly elaborate holiday window displays and the arrival of Starbucks’ ubiquitous red cups may make it appear that the holidays are just around the corner, but there’s still an entire month left to enjoy the flavors of fall before heavier winter ingredients hit the grocery store shelves.
The mixology team at Mexican hotspot Horchata are celebrating this season by sourcing pumpkin puree as the base for one of their most inventive martinis, which comes complete with a spiced pumpkin seed rim. To indulge your penchant for pumpkin one last time this season, whip up the Strike a Gourd recipe this weekend.
