Memorial Day marks the official start of summer, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a light and crisp cocktail in hand. This drink—courtesy of fan-favorite barbecue joint Mexicue[1]—is sure to be a crowd pleaser amongst friends and family at your holiday bash this weekend.

“Our Spiked Palmero is the perfect summer cocktail—refreshing iced tea and fresh limeade spiked with Evan Williams bourbon and garnished with fresh mint,” says Thomas Kelly, co-founder of Mexicue. “It is dangerously delicious.”

Here’s what you’ll need.

2 oz. Arnold Palmer
1½ oz. Evan Williams Bourbon
1 oz. Mint simple syrup
Fresh mint and lemon wedge

Combine mint and simple syrup and muddle. Pour over ice in a Mason jar. Garnish with a lemon wedge and mint.
