Every weekend during high season Hamptonites flock to Southampton Social Club—the buzzy East End hangout known for its upscale fare and chic vibe—eager to sip on expertly crafted cocktails and dance until dawn. And it’s no surprise why. The elegant space boasts plush outdoor banquettes, live music and a stately mahogany bar stocked high with top shelf spirits.
“The Social Cooler was inspired by seasonal ingredients and hot summer days,” says master mixologist Elayne Duff. “The combination of fresh watermelon, lime juice and the spicy kick of jalapeño-infused Don Julio makes it the ultimate summer cocktail.”
Here, we’ve snagged the recipe for a palate-pleaser to keep you refreshed all summer long.
1¾ oz. Jalapeño-infused Don Julio Tequila
1 oz. Watermelon purée
