Detroit-based manufacturing company Shinola[1] has been making luxury products—watches[2], leather goods, journals and pet accessories[3], to name a few—since 2011, but its newest line is an addition to its existing bicycle collection. Boasting high quality components (think: leather saddle, cork grips and chain guard) and flawless craftsmanship, the single-speed Detroit Arrow is sleek, stylish and safe.
The ride offers the same reliability as previous models, the Runwell 11-speed and the Bixby 3-speed, but with a newly designed TIG-welded True Temper steel frame. Cyclists have two colors to choose from, black or white, as well as three men’s sizes and one women’s size.
Ready to take it for a spin? The Detroit Arrow costs $1000 and is sold online and in Shinola stores and retailers.
