Riviera Maya’s premier resort, Rosewood Mayakoba[1], sits in the heart of a 1,600-acre enclave and is built along winding lagoons and a mile-long arc of pristine beach. The property boasts 130 suites with private plunge pools, rooftop sundecks, outdoor showers and individual docks.
A recent enhancement project has seen the opening of four two-bedroom Mayakoba Suites [2]outfitted with spacious double showers and a two-person hammock. There have also been top-to-bottom renovations of the resort’s three restaurants, which each pay homage to a different region of Mexico: Italian boîte Casa del Lago, the Asian-inspired Agave Azul, and the distinctly Mexican Punta Bonita on the beach—all under the helm of new executive Chef Juan Pablo Loza.
