Antigua’s long, storied past–one that dates back to around 2900 BC–can be visually traced today with various puzzle pieces scattered around the island serving as a window into history. Devil’s Bridge is one of those places, a reminder of geology’s ability to withstand the test of time, and though it bore witness to darkness and tragedy through the country’s slavery era, the landmark remains one of the most strikingly beautiful lookouts in the Caribbean. It is here that Hammock Cove[1], a brand new adults-only resort by renowned hotelier Rob Barrett, now calls home, and it’s safe to say that the breezy, modern hideaway is quickly becoming one of the most exclusive stays in the area. Rosario Soler, Resort Manager of Hammock Cove, takes us through the property’s most highly coveted room type and what goes into making a stay here so special.

Tell us a bit about the newly-opened property and what makes it such a unique luxury experience specific to the island of Antigua.

Hammock Cove’s location on Antigua’s northeast coast is truly spectacular as its adjacent to Devil’s Bridge National Park with its famed limestone arch and soaring ocean geysers.
