Room Request! The Montage Beverly Hills

L.A. is the city of wellness[1]—or at least the city that is most serious about its wellness—and there are not many hotels in town more equipped to rejuvenate its guests than the Montage Beverly Hills[2]. With mod-Mediterranean architecture and sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills, the space is designed to make guests feel both apart of and removed from the momentum of the international glamour metropolis around them.

Named the #1 hotel in Los Angeles by Condé Nast Traveler in 2015 based on their annual Readers Choice Poll, the 201-room hotel has multiple acclaimed culinary establishments including the Scott Conant-helmed Italian restaurant Scarpetta, as well as the exclusive whiskey haunt £10. But the Montage’s most distinctive offering, perhaps, is its spa[3], which is the only Forbes five-star spa in Beverly Hills (the hotel itself also has a five-star rating), and the only destination on the West Coast for treatments from the ultra-luxury Swiss “miracle” brand L.Raphael. Needless to say, a stay at the Montage has become something of a must for anyone red carpet bound—and perhaps in this season, podium-bound—so here, the Montage’s General Manager Todd Orlich gave us the inside look at what’s on demand at the hottest hotel in Beverly Hills.

What makes it so special:
The Montage Suite is the largest and most luxurious of our three Presidential style suites. With a generously sized private terrace that spans the length of the suite, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills. The suite has custom hardwood flooring and an expansive living room area with a Grand Piano and a dual side fireplace. Lastly, a dining room bookends the suite with a table that seats up to 10 people for entertaining, and guests are invited to utilize our talented culinary team to curate an extraordinary dining experience. The Montage Suite is ideal for families and long-term guests as it can be expanded into a complete four-bedroom suite when connected to two king rooms in the nearby Hollywood Suite.

Because…
This room has spectacular views from the private terrace that overlooks the Beverly Canon Gardens, and a large, separate living room adjacent to the sleeping guestroom. The beauty of this particular suite is that guests can choose which experience they want while staying at the hotel.  You can enjoy a beautifully presented breakfast in the comfort of your room, unwinding as you look out at the view—feeling far from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan Los Angeles. It’s the ideal urban retreat for those in search of that experience.  And alternatively, guests can take advantage of our ideal location—in the heart of Beverly Hills’ famed Golden Triangle—where you can simply step outside the hotel doors and find the exciting, glamorous offerings on Canon and Rodeo Drives, home to some of the most renowned designer boutiques and restaurants in the world.

Fun fact:
We are the only hotel in the U.S. to have a designated In-House Fashion Stylist, Joseph Katz, who services our guests in a variety of ways—whether curating outfits for high profile events like red carpets, or taking guests in our Rolls Royce Ghost house car over to Rodeo Drive for a walking tour of the luxury boutiques.
